FAQs

  • Are children allowed?

We've opted for a child-free ceremony and reception. We understand this may affect your RSVP and we respect your decision either way!

  • What's the dress code?

No shoes, no shirt, no service. By which we mean black tie optional. Look good, but not better than the bride and groom. Make it close though.

  • Will we be outside?

Weather permitting - yes! The reception will be outdoors on grass, the cocktail hour will be mixed indoors-outdoors, then for the reception we’re back inside. If it looks like rain, we’ll pivot and go all-indoors. Please keep this in mind when planning what to wear!

  • Will transportation be provided?

Because many of our guests are finding their own hotel or rental, (which we encourage!) we haven't yet locked in a route and schedule for transportation. We are hoping to accommodate as many of our guests as possible, so if you’d like to be included, please try to book your stay north of the venue and be sure to fill out the survey at the bottom of the travel page.

We’ll get in touch with more details once we have them.

  • What time should I get to the ceremony?

Our ceremony starts promptly at 6pm, so plan to arrive around 15 minutes ahead of time.

  • Will there be parking?

Yes, there will be plenty of parking available at Wequassett, but don’t drink and drive.

  • What can I do on Cape Cod (besides your wedding)?

Ah, man - what can’t you do? As you’ll see when you get there, Cape Cod has its own vibe and pace of life. Find a beach and lay out for a day, head up to Wellfleet to see where Hannah spent her summers, or simply admire the undeniable charm and beauty up and down the Cape. But whatever you do, you must go to the Beachcomber, buy a novelty t-shirt, and slurp some oysters.

  • Are there really *that* many sharks off Cape Cod?

While there are many sharks to be wary of, there are even more putt-putt golf courses to contend with. We recommend checking out the latter.
